Does the cost of a CBD product reflect its quality?

Asked 3 years ago

I use pure life raw extract in virgin hemp 1500mg. I see a lot of it being promoted by sportspeople, etc. but for £45 for a bottle, whereas I get 3 bottles for 24 quid.

Well you got a great deal! I think it is a one-off buy two get one free deal. Generally, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. There is fake CBD, low-quality CBD that sells for cheap, and lots of scams.

If you bought your Raw Extract in Virgin Hemp from the official Essican Pure Life website, then you're ok. But if you bought it from a different place it could be a rip-off, or fake.

There are ways of checking if your CBD is the good stuff, even if it is on the cheap side. Look for third-party lab testing, see if the extraction method was with a safe solvent like supercritical CO2, and that it is made with naturally grown hemp. Make sure the CBD content is listed on the label and that the company doesn't make unrealistic claims about the power of their product.
